Markdown
NOTE: Some of the features below aren't required anymore for text formatting on your profile page! This is because they recently added a text editor for the profile page, so you can format your text (including adding headings, centering text) by just clicking buttons. The text editor is only accessible on your profile page!If you don't know what markdown is: It's essentially what you do to embolden, italicize, both, and etc text. If you're on Discord, that's what you use to format your text as well. But unfortunately, not all markdown is available on the JAI site. This section is meant to show you what is available and how you can do it.‣ Bold Lettering
Formatting: **text**
or __text__
‣ Italic Lettering
Formatting: *text*
or _text_
*As you saw before, you can make bold and italic lettering. Just do: ***text***
You can also use this for links, char and user. The system will embolden, italicize, or both once you send the message/update the field.Do keep in mind that italicized text changes to a gray color on bot descriptions and in chat, and a gray shade of your chosen font color on your profile.‣ Code
Formatting: `code` or ``code``
* This markdown normally highlights text in grey and changes the font for coding, but it's different for JAI. This only works in chats and changes the font of the text. Below are some comparisons:

* Note that this is NOT the apostrophe mark. This is the mark: ` and this is an apostrophe: '‣ Link
Formatting: [link text or title](link)
* You absolutely should do this if you want a clickable link on your profile and bot descriptions or in your intro message. Just pasting the link (as far as I remember) does not make the link clickable at all.It should also be noted that links formatted this way will turn blue on your bio and bot description. The font color cannot be changed, even if you put it on your profile bio and changed the text color. However, in intro messages, the link will appear like regular text unless you hover your cursor over it or click on it.This markdown can also be used to put images in your profile bio, bot description, and intro messages. More on this is in the Graphics section.

Graphics
This section is about dividers, images, and gifs. For images and gifs, you may need to use 3rd party websites. For things like custom fonts and symbols, go to this section.‣ Dividers
* By dividers, I mean something like the line of stars you see above this text bot. However, in JanitorAI, you can make a simple line divider with this formatting:
***
or ---
This produces a thin line. If you want it thicker, simply do more on top of each other, like so:

The more you add, the thicker it gets. This also automatically resizes according to the size of your device's screen.‣ Images & Gifs
* Images and gifs are added through the link markdown with a simple addition of an exclamation point:

This works in your bio, bot description, and intro message. An example of it being used is my own profile (click here) and my bot's intro message below:

But Luna, you mentioned you need a third party site for this. Well, it's true. Because these images and gifs aren't uploaded directly from your device. As you saw, they are implemented through a link. To get a link for your image, you'd need a site that hosts images and gifs such as Imgur. (I am sure there are other sites like it if you don't prefer Imgur). When you upload your media through this platform, make sure you get the link that ends with a .png, .jpg, or .gif, and starts with https://i.imgur (or whatever it may look like for other websites). The links on my profile look like this:
Before you use this feature, you should know:
‣ That the images/gifs do not automatically resize to the size of the text containers and cannot be put in the center. If you are making a custom image, especially for your profile, make the image's width to be 3 inches wide.
‣ In addition to the above, the site automatically sizes down your images and gifs on JAI's cellphone browser version, no matter if you set it at the perfect size that fits on wider devices. Afaik, there's no way to format this without affecting the appearance on another device, so your users may have to zoom in just to see the contents.
‣ Gifs may decrease in quality! Make use of a thicker/bolder font in gifs just in case. You can also make an image/gif clickable by placing a link in the Sample Text place. Ex:

Custom Fonts and Symbols
As you know, the most that you can customize font on JAI (which is a built in feature) is changing the color of the font on your bio (and nowhere else). But, you can still use custom fonts and symbols to decorate your bio, description, and intro messages.‣ Custom Fonts with the Use of Font Generators
Font Generators let you translate text into the same text, but with a different font. You can copy the 'translated text' and paste it into whatever field (including bio, bot description, and intro message).𝓗𝓮𝓻𝓮'𝓼 ⓐⓝ 𝖊𝖝𝖆𝖒𝖕𝖑𝖊* Do not expect bots to be able to replicate the same font as the APIs you are using may not be able to replicate it, even if you put it in definition. Texts with generated fonts also take up more tokens than regular text so just don't put it in definition at all.You can find font generators by just looking it up on google and it will give you some websites like Fancy Text Generator and this one by PicsArt.‣ Symbols
Just like custom font before this, you can get different symbols from 3rd party websites and paste them into JAI. You can find these websites as well by looking up copy and paste symbols or aesthetic symbols.* Some of these symbols may turn into regular emojis on mobile, so pick your symbols wisely!
